Trinidad holds a special place in her heart, as her first visit of many visits was due to her award of the Don Eckelberry Scholarship. Mr. Eckelberry, a renowned bird artist, was instrumental in helping to create what is now known as the Asa Wright Nature Center, known for it's spectacular birding.
