The Artists' Gallery Rallies for the HLTA

Left to Right, Artists' Gallery member Stacie Speer-Scott, Tracey Costanzo - Development and Communications Manager for the Hunterdon Land Trust Alliance, Artists' Gallery President J. Stacy Rogers, Artists' Gallery members Jennifer Cadoff and Joe Kazimierczyk.

On April 18, 19 and 20th The Artists’ Gallery hosted "Green", an art exhibition and sale to benefit the Hunterdon Land Trust Alliance (HTLA) and their mission to preserve local farms, forests, and natural areas.

Stacy Speer-Scott, Jennifer Cadoff and Joe Kazimierczyk all sold paintings during the one-weekend "Green" benefit where 40% of the sales total were donated to the HLTA.

"We were delighted to have the Artists' Gallery members contribute their gallery space and wonderful artwork to supporting our preservation efforts", says Tracey Constanzo, Development and Communications Manager of the HTLA.

"Green" was very successful on several fronts as it met all of our key goals. The fist was to help raise community awareness for the HTLA's mission of land preservation through event publicity. Another was that art and artists can make a difference. Another was that not all art galleries are static, they can be dynamic. Another was to demonstrate a willingness to partner with local groups. Finally, and just as important, was to make new friends for the gallery, create an exciting event for all involved, sell artwork and make a donation.
