Color, Line, and Light - the Riverside Symphonia

Riverside Symphonia, Delaware Valley's own orchestra, is having a world premiere of a new orchestral work by composer Robert Maggio (1999 Fellow), inspired by the Impressionist landscape painters of the Delaware Valley. The work will be performed along with video projections showing the works of several local artists.

Gallery members Marc Reed and Joe Kazimierczyk will be among the artists whose work was selected to accompany this performance. Marc Reed, who is well known for his documentary films of local landmarks, was chosen to produce the video that will serve as a backdrop for the concert:

Artists Gallery at Phillips Mill 79th Annual Juried Exhibition

Once again, Artists' Gallery is well represented at this year's Phillips Mill Annual Juried Exhibition. Sheila Letven and Joe Kazimierczyk have both won awards in the show. Florence Moonan and Gail Bracegirdle have portfolio pieces accepted into the show.

Also, an image of Doug Sardo's pastel painting of the Mill was used for this years poster - that's the 2nd year in a row that Artists' Gallery members' work has been used for the poster - last year it was Kazimierczyk's image of the mill.

The Phillips Mill 79th Annual Juried Exhibition runs Sept 20 through Oct 25, 2008. The Mill is located at 2619 River Road (Rt 32) about 1 1/2 miles north of New Hope, Pa. and is open daily from 1 to 5 pm.

The Land That Feeds You - Kazimierczyk at D&R Greenway Gallery

Treichler in ART FALL at Gallery 125

John Treichler's work is on display as part of ART Fall at Gallery 125 in Trenton. The juried art exhibit will be on display from Sept 12th through November 8th 2008. The opening reception is Friday, September 12 from 6:00 to 9:00pm with wine, music, and hors d'oeuvres for the first hour.

Gallery 125 is located at 125 S. Warren St. at the corner of W. Lafayette St., across from the Trenton Marriott.
