Get Lost - Beatrice Bork and Joe Kazimierczyk

"Get Lost" at Artists' Gallery this November
 beginning 11·11·11
"Get Lost"
featuring Beatrice Bork and Joe Kazimierczyk
Nov 11 - Dec 4, 2011
Opening reception: Saturday, November 12, 5-8pm

Landscape painter Joe Kazimierczyk and animal artist Beatrice Bork invite you to "Get Lost" this November as they explore the outdoors through their art. Get lost in a moment, in nature, in discovery - "Get Lost" at Artists' Gallery.

Both artists do much of their work in nature. Kazimierczyk revels in the peaceful scenery of New Jersey's farmsteads and back roads and translates the experience with his talents as an oil painter. Bork's love of birds and animals comes through in wonderfully detailed watercolor paintings that place her subjects into artistic harmony with their natural surroundings.

"We both literally do get lost in our work," says Kazimierczyk. "In the search for and exploration of our subjects, and in the act of creating our artwork."

"My interpretation of ‘Get Lost' is in the sense that you let go of the everyday stresses and become one with where you are, tune in by tuning out - really seeing what's right in front of you." says Bork. "Often that leads to finding so much more about nature, and in turn, about yourself."

"Losing yourself in Beatrice's or Joe's world is a wonderful way to spend some time," said Gallery spokesperson Laurie Nicholson. "Theirs is really soul-renewing work. I believe Joe's poetic landscapes might actually have the power to lower your blood pressure, while Bea's thoughtful portraits of animals reveal a wisdom and serenity that warms the heart."

Please join us for an opening reception on Saturday, November 12, from 5-8pm.

There will be a closing reception, "Coffee and Conversation" on Sunday, December 4, 2-5pm
